St Monica English Medium School, Kumbla proudly records the outstanding achievement of its karate students in two prestigious karate championships conducted recently.
The JSKA Kerala State Championship 2025 was held on 30th December 2025 at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kottayam. Students from various districts across Kerala participated in this state-level event. Our school students actively took part in different kata and kumite categories and displayed excellent skill, discipline, and sportsmanship. Many of them won medals and certificates, bringing great pride to the school.
Following this, the New Year Cup Open Karate Championship 2026 was conducted on 11th January 2026 at the JSKA Dojo, Kumbla. This open championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from several schools and karate academies. The students of St Monica English Medium School performed exceptionally well and secured several prizes in different categories.
In recognition of the overall excellent performance, St Monica English Medium School, Kumbla was awarded the Overall Championship Trophy at the New Year Cup Open Karate Championship 2026. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication of our students, the guidance of their coaches, and the constant support of the school management.
