Honoring Our Nation: Republic Day Highlights from St Monica School
Republic Day celebration 2025
Republic Day celebrated on 26th January 2025 at 9:15 a.m. in our school premises. The program began with a prayer song Led by the school choir. Bhakti from class 7th welcomed the gathering. The importance of celebrating Republic Day shared by Khadeeja Shaza from class 4. Flag was unfurled by our manager Rev. Fr Melwin D’Souza along with the Principal Sr Ancy Mathew, Vice Principal Fr Suraj Joseph Lobo and other dignitaries. After the flag hoisting National Anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ and Jhanda Uncha was sung by the school choir. There after, march past was performed from class 4 to class 8 by the squad students. Patriotic songs where sung in different languages. After that mass drill was performed by the students.
On account of Republic Day wonderful dance was performed by the students. Rev.Fr.MelwinD’Souza addressed the gathering. The management,staff,students, parents and paritioners were also present for the celebration. Shanvi from class 8 lead the program as the master of the ceremony. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Zubaida. The program ended with School Anthem.
