Spaces for Growth: Play Park & Admin Block Inauguration

The inauguration of the new Administrative Block and Play Park at St Monica English Medium School was held on 18 November 2025 with great joy, reverence, and celebration. The event commenced with the arrival of the esteemed guests, who were warmly escorted by the school band to the main entrance. The program began with a traditional Aarti ceremony, followed by the ribbon-cutting by Most Rev. Dr  Aloysius Paul D’Souza at the main entrance, symbolizing the official opening of the new administrative wing.

This was followed by the disclosure of the newly installed name board, marking a significant milestone in the school’s journey. The dignitaries then proceeded towards the Play Park, where the LKG students stood cheerfully holding balloons, adding color and charm to the moment. The ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Play Park was performed with enthusiasm, after which the Bishop conducted the Blessing Ceremony with Holy Water, sanctifying the newly inaugurated spaces.

Formal Program

Upon completion of the outdoor inaugurations, the guests were respectfully escorted to the stage by the school band. The ceremony began with a graceful Floral Welcome Procession, followed by the school’s prayer, invoking God’s blessings on the gathering.

The students presented a vibrant Welcome Dance, after which the Welcome Speech was delivered by Rev. Fr Melwyn D’Souza, setting the tone for the day. This was followed by a melodious Welcome Song presented by the school choir.

The  program continued with the Felicitation Ceremony, honoring the following dignitaries for their esteemed presence and contributions:

★ Mr. Elroy D’Souza – who has overseen all the works

★ Mr. Sunil K – the skilled plumbing technician

★ Mr. Edward D’Souza – Welding and Fabrication contractors

★ Rev. Fr Stany Pereira – Vicar , for his gracious presence

Following the felicitations, Rev. Fr Stany Pereira addressed the gathering with an inspiring message. The second round of felicitations was then held to honor:

★ Rev. Fr Melwyn D’Souza – Whose vision turned into reality

★ Most Rev. Dr  Aloysius Paul D’Souza – as the token of love and gratitude.

This was followed by a heartfelt Message by the Bishop, whose words of wisdom and blessings enriched the occasion.

As a gesture of appreciation, the school presented a Token of Love and Gratitude to the management  members of the school and PTA vice president.

The program concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks by the in-charge Principal, Sr. Sharmila Pandranki expressing appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the event. The solemn School Anthem was then sung, marking a dignified end to the memorable celebration. The program was smoothly led by Mrs. Krithi , Assistant Teacher.

Talent Day Sparkles: Kids in Action

Talents Day for Grades 1 to 4 was held on 28 November 2025 in the school auditorium with great excitement and enthusiasm. The programme was
