The Open House of the Kindergarten Section and from Grade 1 to Grade 9 of St. Monica English Medium CBSE School was held on 16th and 18th of August 2025 in the school premises. The programme was conducted MC by Mrs Priya, Mrs Keerthy and Mrs Milani
The session began with a prayer song presented by the teachers. This was followed by a warm welcome address by Sr Sharmila, who greeted the gathering and emphasized the role of parents and teachers in shaping the lives of the children.
The Manager, Rev. Fr Melwyn D’Souza, addressed the parents. He highlighted some important points. Firstly, he spoke about the importance of discipline, reminding everyone that it forms the backbone of good education and character. He shared updates regarding the play park, informing the parents that it would be ready within a month, and also gave details about the Pre-KG section. Later he explained the fee structure, particularly the option for installment payments. He spoke about Hall ticket for examination, fine system will be imposed for talking in other languages except English in school campus and also welcomed parents opinions regarding the new uniform. His address was well received and appreciated by all present.
 Following this, parents signed the report cards in the respective classes. Teachers and Parents discussed about the students progress, marking the end of the Open House.
The programme was enriching and served as an effective platform for communication between the school and parents, ensuring better understanding and collaboration for the all-round development of the children.
