“Ink, Colors, Imagination, and Inspiration: Cultural Day 1 Highlights”

As a part of creativity and self-expression, Cultural Day – 1 was conducted on June 21, 2025, at St Monica English Medium School, Kumbla. The event focused on off-stage competitions for Grades 5 to 10, divided into two categories. 177 students from Category 2 (Grades 5 to 7) and 105 students from Category 3 (Grades 8 to 10) enthusiastically participated in events such as pencil drawing, painting, essay writing, story writing, versification, and collage. Students were allowed to take part in up to three items, with each event timed for 30 minutes and topics provided on the spot. The competitions were conducted smoothly with great cooperation from both students and staff. It was truly heartening to witness the talent and confidence displayed by the participants. The competition was successfully carried out under the guidance of our respected Principal Sr Ancy Matthew and Manager Fr Melwyn Dsouza.
