The Annual Sports Meet 2025–26 of St Monica English Medium School was held on 31st October 2025 at the Herald Memorial Ground with vibrant enthusiasm and school spirit. The event commenced with a grand opening ceremony led by Chief Guest Mr. Jagadish Kumble, a renowned Kabaddi player, alongside dignitaries including School Manager Rev. Fr Melwyn D’Souza, Principal Sr Sharmila, PTA Vice President Mrs. Yamini, and Staff Coordinator Mrs. Archana. The students displayed remarkable discipline and coordination during the march past and torch lighting ceremony, setting the tone for an exciting day. A variety of sports events such as football, throwball, kho-kho, running races, and jumps showcased the athletic talent and competitive spirit of students from Grades 5 to 10.
The Closing Ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Vivekananda Shetty, Ward Member, who applauded the students for their dedication and sportsmanship. Individual Championships were awarded to outstanding performers, and the Blue House emerged victorious, claiming the Overall Championship Trophy with pride. The event concluded with the ceremonial lowering of the flag, leaving behind a trail of joyful memories, team spirit, and a renewed passion for sports among the students.
