Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas Celebration
St. Monica English Medium School celebrated Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas from November 3 to 15 to honour the great tribal leader Birsa Munda and the rich heritage of India’s tribal communities.
Various activities were held throughout the week — a documentary show for Grade 7, tribal art by Grades 3 and 4, essay writing by Grade 8, a virtual museum visit for Grade 6, tribal dance by Grade 5, and a tribal song by Grade 9. The SOS Club students also organized an outreach visit to a tribal colony.
The celebration concluded with a reflection and presentation day, where Mrs. Keerthy shared the significance of the day, followed by a floral tribute to Birsa Munda by the Manager, Principal, and teachers.
