Teacher’s Day Celebration

The Teacher’s Day celebration was held in our school auditorium on 23rd August , with great enthusiasm and reverence. The program began with a warm introduction, highlighting the theme “Guiding Lights,” symbolizing the invaluable role of teachers in shaping lives. The arrival of the teachers was greeted with applause, followed by offering flowers to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

The celebration Commenced with a prayer led by the students, followed by a welcome address. To mark the auspicious beginning, the dignitaries – Manager Rev. Fr Melwyn D’Souza, Principal Rev. Sr Sharmila, and Vice Principal Rev. Fr Suraj Joseph Lobo – lighted the ceremonial lamp.

The Principal addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, followed by a speech on the significance of Teacher’s Day by a student. The cultural program included a vibrant dance performance, a touching speech, a creative skit, and a melodious choir presentation, all dedicated to expressing gratitude towards teachers. “The celebration also included a few entertaining fun games, which added joy and excitement to the occasion.

A special moment of the celebration was the presentation of “Tokens of Love” to all the staff, acknowledging their dedication and guidance. Each staff was honoured individually with warm words of appreciation from the students. The school Manager and Vice Principal addressed the gathering with their words of gratitude and motivation.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, teachers, non teaching staff, students, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The program came to a close with joy, inspiration, and a deep sense of appreciation for the teachers who are the  “guiding lights of the institution”.
